What is Religion?

I would like to say many definitions and meaning about religion with all differences opinion of the people.

Jhon Morley said religion has been defined in terms of worship, of belief, of feeling, of morality, of values, of attidues, of realtionships; as individual, as social, as institutional, and in many others way.

Religion is a belief in spiritual beings. (Taylor).

Religion is the worship of higher powers from a sense of need. (Menzies).

Religion is the life of God in the soul of man. (W. Newton Clarke).

Religion is the conservation of values. (Hoffding).

Religion is the consciousness of the higher social values. (Ames).

Religion is a co-operative quest after a completely satisfying life. (Haydon).
